Gray’s Court is one of those places that feels special the moment you arrive. Tucked just behind York Minster, it’s calm, welcoming, and full of quiet character. It doesn’t feel like a typical wedding venue,  more like a beautiful home that’s been loved for a very long time. I was so delighted to flower there over the summer and couldn't wait to create some stunning show piece florals.
Fireplace arrangement - to create this stunning fireplace piece I used a gorgeous combination of hydrangea, delphinium, roses, garden roses, spray roses, stocks and cosmos.

Weddings here work best when they’re allowed to be natural, we went with a couple of floor standing meadows to frame the ceremony, these versatile arrangements can then be moved in front of a welcome sign, sweetheart table or cake table.  Flowers don’t need to be overthought. Each season brings something different… but the feeling stays the same.

If you’re thinking about getting married at Gray’s Court, my advice would be to trust it. Choose flowers that feel like you, not what you think a wedding should look like.

It’s a place that holds weddings beautifully,  and it’s always a joy to flower.
